Open Source DataTurbine members along with our University of Wisconsin collaborators Paul Hanson and Luke Winslow organized a special Information Management Buoy Training workshop from 8-10 February 2008. During this workshop we assembled and deployed the buoy shown in the picture in Lake Annie. During this workshop we also deployed DataTurbine at a field station for real-time acquisition of data from the instrumented buoy.
