Peter and Tony are at the Moorea Coral Reef (MCR) LTER site in French Polynesia to test the OSDT Sensor Pod with the ocean acidification sensors. The Sensor Pod utilizes a Droid phone for the embedded controller and communicates over long-distance wireless radios. Data management and system control is based on DataTurbine. The suite of sensors measures pH, PCO2, temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and pressure. You can follow the day-to-day activities at our blog: http://osdtmoorea2012.blogspot.com/
