Date:

In June 2008, Open Source DataTurbine team members traveled to Moorea Coral Reef (MCR) LTER site to meet with Coral Reef Environmental Observatory Network (CREON) partners. During this visit, OSDT team members surveyed the existing system architecture, made enhancements to their current hardware and software infrastructure, and discussed use case scenarios and future deployment plans. In addition, the Open Source DataTurbine team members deployed DataTurbine for acquiring data from a Seabird CTD (seabird 16 plus) instrument and an axis video camera. This activity was supported in part by our award from the Betty and Gordon Moore Foundation for “Sensors, Scientists, and Streaming Data” (http://www.calit2.net/newsroom/release.php?id=1204)
