DataTurbine Linked to Pachube Cloud

Scott Bainbridge of the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS, www.aims.gov.au)
has developed an interface between DataTurbine and the Pachube Cloud. Pachube provides a
cloud-computing platform for real-time sensor data (https://pachube.com/). DataTurbine
data streams were sent to Pachube where triggers were defined for event detection and
notification via Twitter. Scott demonstrated this application with data streams from multiple
sites of the Coral Reef Environmental Observatory (CREON) network at the recent EIM Conference
(https://eim.ecoinformatics.org/eim2011).
